सा० का० ति ० 490 (अ) महानिवेशक, भारतीय डाकघर अधिनियम , 1898 ( 1898 का 6) की श्राग 21 की उपधारा ( 3 ) द्वारा प्रदल शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए पोस्ट बाक्म आदेश , 1956 का श्रौर संशोधन करने के लिए निम्मलिखित श्रावेश करते हैं , अर्थात्--
1. ( i) इस श्रादेश का संक्षिप्त नाम पोस्ट बाक्म ( दूसरा संशोधन ) आदेश , 1980 है ।
(ii) यह प्रथम मितम्बर , 1980 को प्रवृत्त होगा ।
2. पोस्ट बाक्स आवेश , 1956 के ( जिसे इममें इसके पश्चात् उक्त श्रादेश कहा गया है ) पैरा 8 के उप पैंग ( क ) में विद्यमान मव ( i ) भौर ( ii ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्:--
"( i ) 60 रु ० प्रति वर्ष, यदि पूर्ण शासकीय वर्ष अर्थात् 1 अप्रैल से 31 मार्च तक के लिए किराए पर दिया गया है;
(ii ) प्रत्येक तीन कलेण्डर मास या उसके भाग के लिए 20 रु ० यदि पूर्ण शासकीय वर्ष से कम किसी अवधि के लिए किराए पर दिया गया है ।"
3. पैरा 24 के उप पैरा ( क ) में विश्यमान मद ( ⅰ ) और ( ii ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा, प्रर्थात्
"( ⅰ) 100 रु० प्रति वर्ष, यदि पूर्ण शासकीय वर्ष अर्थात् । अप्रैल,

से 31 मार्च तक के लिए किराए पर विया गया है ; या
( ii ) प्रत्येक तीन कलेण्डर मास या उमके भाग के लिए 30 रु ० यदि पूर्ण शामकीय वर्ष से कम अवधि के लिए किराए पर दिय। गया है।"

G.S.R. 490(E) ,-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (3 ) of section 21 of the Indian Post Office Act, 1898 , (6 of 1898) , the Director General hereby makes the following orders further to amend the Post Boxes orders , 1956 , namely :
1. (i) This order may be called the Post Boxes ( 2nd Amendment) Order , 1980 .
( ii) It shall come into force on the 1st, Sept. , 1980.
2. In the Post Boxes Order . 1956 (hereinafter referred to as the said order ) , in paragraph 8 in sub- paragraph

(a), for the existing items (i) and ( ii), the following shall be substituted, namely :
"( i) Rs . 60 per year, if rented for a full official year , that is to say, from 1st April to 31st March;
(ii ) Rs. 20. for every three calander . months or part thereof, if rented for w period of less than a full official year".
3. In paragraph 248, In sub - pharagrapla (a) , for the existing items ( i) and ( iih. the following shall be substituted, namely :-
"(i ) Rs. 100 per peat; if red for a full officiat year, that is to say,from the 1st April to 31st Match , or
(ii) Rs . 30 for every three calendar months or part thereof, if rented for a period of less than a full official year".

सा ० का० ति ० 491 ( अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारतीय डाकघर अधि मियम, 1898 ( 1898 का 6) की धारा 7 और घास द्वारा प्रदतः मशक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारतीय डाकघर नियम , 1933 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्मलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्
1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारतीय डाकवर ( तीसरा संशोधन) नियम, 1980 है ।
( ii) मे प्रथम सितम्बर 1980 को अबूत होंगे।
2. भारतीय डाकघर नियम, 1933 के (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्वात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है) नियम में,
(क) "पत्र" शीर्ष के नीचे "दस ग्राम से अनधिक भार के लिए" से संबंधित प्रविष्टि के सामने " 30 " अंकों के स्थाल पर " 35" भंक रखे आएंगे ।
(ख) ( i) "पार्सल " शीर्ष के नीचे "पाच सौ ग्राम से मनधिक भार के लिए" से संबंधित प्रविष्टि के साममै " 1.50" अंकों के स्थान पर " 2.00 " अंक रखे जाएंगे;
(ii ) "पांच सौ ग्राम से अधिक प्रत्येक अतिरिक्त पांच सौ ग्राम या खसके भाग के लिए" शब्दों के सामने " 1.50" अंकों के स्थान पर " 2.00 " पंफ रखे जाएंगे;
3. उक्त नियमों के नियम 194 में;
(क) "समुद्रमृत लिफाफा" शीर्ष के नीचे "प्रत्येक ( मन्तर्देशीय ) लिफाफे के लिए" प्रविष्टि के सामने " 30 पैसे " अंकों और शब्द के स्थान पर " 35 पैसे" अंक भी शब्द रखते .
(ख) "रजिस्ट्रीकरण लिफाफे " शीर्ष के बीचे "प्रत्येक लिफाफा के लिए" से संबंधित प्रविष्टि के सामने "बो रुपये पचपन पैसे धन दस पैसे लेखन सामग्री प्रभार" शब्दों के स्थान पर "दो रुपये साठ पैसे घन वस पैसे लेखन सामग्री प्रभार " शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।

New Delhi , the 26th August , 1980
G.S.R. 491 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 7 and 8 of the Indian Post Office Act , 1898 (6 of 1898) the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Post. Office Rules , 1933 , namely: --
1. (i) These rules may be called the Indian Post Office (31d Amendment) Rules , 1980 .
( ii ) They shall comerinto force on the 1st day of September, 1980.
2. In the Indian Post Office Rules , 1933 ( hereinafter referred to as the said Rules), in rule 1,
(a) under the heading " Letters " , against the entry ге- lating to "For a weight not exceeding ten grams", for the figures "30" , the figures "35 " , shall be substituted;
(b) ( i ) under the heading "Parcels " , against the entry re- lating to "For a weight not exceeding five hundred" , for the figures " 1.50" , the figures " 2.00" shall be substituted :
(ii) against the words "For every additional five hundred grams or fraction thereof in excess of five hundred grams", for the figures " 1.50 " the figures ' 2.00 " shall be substituted;
3. In rule 194 of the said Rules ,
(a) under the heading "Embossed Envelopes " , against the entry relating to "For each (Inland) Envelope" , for the figures and word "30 paise " , the figures and word "35 paise" shall be substituted;
(b) under the heading "Registration Envelopes " , against the entry relating to "For each envelope " , for the words "Rupees two and fifly five paise plus ten paise stationery charges" ; the words "Rupees two and sixty paise plus ten paise stationery charges " shall be substituted.

सा० का० मि ० 492( भ) केन्द्रीय सरकार, भारतीय तार अधिनियम. 1885 ( 1885 का 13 ) की धारा 7 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय तार नियम, 1951 का 'और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्न- लिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्: -
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारतीय तार (जौया संशो धन) नियम, 1980 है,
( 2 ) ये 1 सितम्बर, 1980 से प्रवृत्त होम 853

2. भारतीय नार नियम , 1951 के ( जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है ) नियम 434 में--
(i) अनुभाग 1 के उप अनुभाग ( 1 ) की मव (क ) और (ख) केस्थान पर निम्मलिखित रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्:-
( क) प्रत्येक टेलीफोन कनेक्शन ( किसी विभागीय एक्सचेंज से श्राकस्मिक कनेस्याम को छोड़कर ) प्रान्तरिक या बाह्य विस्तारण , निजी एक्सचेंज कनेक्शन, निजी णाखा एक्सचेज कनेक्शन, निजी शाखा एक्सचेंज की जंक्शन लाइन और निजी पार के प्रत्येक मिरे या किसी नान-एक्स-
150 रु ० चेंजलाइन के लिए
(ख ) विभागीय एक्सचेज से किसी श्राकस्मिक कनेक्शन के लिए 75 रु ०
(ii) अनुभाग 2 के उप अनुभाग ( 1 ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा
जाएगा, अर्थात्:--
"( 1) निजी और निजी शाखा एक्सचेंजों के टेलीफोन कनेक्शन , विस्तारण , प्लग प्वाइंट और कनेक्शन:
75 रु० (क ) एक ही कमरे में एक स्थिति से दूसरी स्थिति में परिवर्तन के लिए
150 रु ०" (ख) एक स्थिति से दूसरी स्थिति में परिवर्तन के सभी अन्य मामलों के लिए
( iii ) अनुभाग के उप श्रनुभाग ( 1 ) में "स्थानीय क्षेत्र के भीतर" शीर्ष के नीचे की प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्मलिखित

माप वर पद्धति किसी एक्सचेंज में ऐसी तारीख से आरम्भ की जा सकती है जो तार प्राधिकारी , राजपत्र में भधिसूचना द्वारा उस निमित्त विनिदिष्ट करे । किसी काल की अवधि जिसके लिए "काल यूनिट" प्रभारित किया जाना है, टेलीफोन के बीच की दूरी पर, जिससे टेलीफोन करने और टेलीफोन सुनने वाले जुड़े हैं, निर्भर करेगी , जैमा कि तार प्राधिकारी द्वारा समय-समय पर विनिदिष्ट किया जाए
(iv) अनुभान 7 के उप अनुभाग ( 1 ) ( क) में , "माप दर पद्धति में सभी काल अनुभाग III की मद 1 की उपमद ( क) में ऐसी फालों के लिए विहित वर से प्रभारित की आएंगी और कोई काल निशुल्क नहीं होगी" शब्दों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्ः-
"माप दर पद्धति में, काल अनुभाग 3 की मद 1 की उपमह (क ) में ऐसी कालों के लिए विहित दर से प्रभारित की जाएंगी । कित्तु कोई भी काल. निःशुल्क नही होगी और पहली 1250 काल भी अमुभाग 3 के उपक्रनुभाग ( 1 ) की मद ( क ) में आने वाली माप वर पद्धति को लागू सारणी के स्तम्भ 4 में दांशत की गई वर पर प्रभारित की जाएंगी ।
(v) अनुभाग 8 में, "एक्सचेंज उपस्कर के लिए किराया और संस्थापन प्रभार" शीर्ष के नीचे, उप अनुभाग ( 1 ) और उसके नीचे टिप्पण के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्:-

4. उक्त नियमों के नियम 451 के विद्यमान उप-नियम ( ग ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्:--
"(ग) वित्त के कुछ घण्टों के दौरान जिसमें रविवार और तीन राष्ट्रीय अवकाश वित भी हैं तथा कालों के कुछ वर्गों पर षटे हुए प्रभार निम्त लिखित होंगे:-

G.S.R. 492 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Indian Telegraph Act , 1885 ( 13 of 1885) the Central Government hereby makes the following rules ) further to amend the Indian Telegraph Rules 1951 , namely: --
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Telegraphs (4th Amendment ) , Rules , 1980 .
(2) They shall come into force from the first day of Sep- tember, 1980.
2. In rule 434 of the Indian Telegraph Rules , 1951 (here- inafter referred as the said Rules) ,
(i) in section 1 , in sub-section ( 1 ) , for items (a) and (b) , the following shall be substituted , namely:---
"(a) for each Telephone connection (excluding casual connection from a Departmental Exchange) , internal , or external extension , private exchange connection private branch exchange connection , junction line to private branch exchange and for each end of a private wire or of a Non -Exchange Line . Rs . 150/- (b) for a casual connection from a Departmental Exchange Rs . 75/- "
(ii) in section 11 , for sub - section ( 1 ), the following shall be substituted , namely:-
"( 1 ) Telephone connection , extension , plug point and connection to private and private branch exchanges: --
(a) for shift from one position to another in the same Rs . 75/ - room .
(b) for all other cases of shift from one position to another Rs. 150/- "
( iii) in section III , in sub - section ( 1 ) , for the entries under the heading " Within the local area " , the following shall be substituted , namely:-

The measured rate system may be introduced at any exchange rom such date as the Telegraph Authority may , by noti- fication in the Official Gazette , specify in this behalf. The dura- tion of a call for which one " Call Unit " is charged , will depend upon the distance between the Telephone exchanges to which the calling and the called Telephones are connected , as speci- fied by the Telegraph Authority from time to time " .
(iv) in section VII, in sub- section ( 1) ( a) , for the words " in Measured Rate System all calls shall be charged at the rate prescribed tor such calls in sub - item ( a ) of item 1 of section III and no calls shall be allowed free of charge" the following shall be substituted , namely: --- "In measured rate system , calls shall be charged at the rate prescribed for such calls in sub- item ( a) of item 1 856

The concession regarding reduced charges shall , however , not apply to trunk calls between any two exchanges or between any two long di trence charging centres , which are situated within a radial distances of 50 Kms .
