Subject: Import Policy for April, 1980-March, 1981. F. No. 1/28/REP/K/74-EPC (Vol. VII)—Attention is invited to the Import Policy for April, 1980-Marh, 1981, pub- lished under the Department of Commerce Public Notice No. 9- ITC (PN)/80 dated the 15th April, 1980.
"(1) Import of raw silk, namely, Tussar or Mulbery. will be allowed, within the admissible replenishment, do- pending upon the variety ac- tually used in the product ex- ported, as certified in the re- levant export inspection certificate, 1 or this purpose, the variety of raw silk forming deominent fibre content in the exported product will bo takon ai the variety actually used."

3. The provisions of this Public Notice with regard to im- port of raw silk as replenishment will apply to REP licences issued against exports made on or after 1st October, 1980.
