NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, Ihe 1st October, 1980
G.S.R. 5*7(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 read with suViection (2) of Section 36 of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works), Act, 1978, the Central Government hereby makes Lhe following rules to r.mend the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Rules, 1978, namely :—
1. (1) These rules may be culled Lhe Metro Railways (Construction of Works) (Amendment) Rules, 1980
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Rules, 1978,—-
(1) In TOb-rule (1) of rule 4 for the words "to he considered at that meeting" the words "to be considered at that meeting and shall also intimate the mem- ber* with the time and place of that meeting" shall be substituted.
(2) In rule 9,—
fa) sub-rulo (1) shall be renumbered as sub-rule l(a);
(b) after sub-rule (1) so renumbered the following sub-rale shall be Inserted, najmely .—
"(b) the President shall intimate the members at least 7 days before the meeting of the Committee with the agenda, time and place of that meeting."
