New Delhi, the 23rd October, 1980
S.O. S55I.E).—Whereas by the order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development (De- partment of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 678(E)/18A/ IDRA/72, dated the 24di October, 1972, (hereinafter referr- ed to as the said order}, the management of the indus- trial undertaking known as Messrs Carter Pooler and Com- pany Private Limited, Calcutta, had been taken over by the Authorised Controller referred to in the said order for a period of 5 years;
And, whereas, the duration of the said order had been extended for a further period of two yeart, that ii, upto and inclusive of the 23rd October, 1979, by Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Indmtry (De- partment of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 62O(E)/18A/ IDRA/77, dated the 19th August, 1977 ;
And, whereas, the duration of the mid order has bee" extended for a further period of one year, that is, upto *nd inclusive of 23rd October, 1980, by Notification of the Gov- ernment of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of industrial Development) No. S.O. 59OCE)/18A/IDRA/ 79 dated the 23rd October, 1979 ;
And, whereas, the Central Government it of the opinion- that it is expedient in the public interest that the manage- ment of the said industrial undertaking by the said Authori*. cd Controller should continue for a further period upto and- inclusive of 23 rd April, 1981 ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of the section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said order shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 23rd April, 1981.
