Sub : Export of video rights of Indian feature fUms.
F. No. 12/8/80-EI.—Attention is invited to the Exports (Control) Amend- ment Order No. E(C)O, 1977/AMfl86) dated the 4th November, 1980, on the above subject.
2. At present, export of exposed cinematographic films (feature films) is canalised through National Film Development Corporation, under OOL. 4. It has now been decided that the sale of video rights of Indian feature films shall also be canalised through National Film Development Corporation. Accordingly, in the Policy Statement of Export Policy April 1980—March 1981. the existing entry appearing in Col. 2, against Sl. No. 55(i)(a), (Page 18) and the correspon- ding entry in Col. 2 against Sl. No 21(i) of Annexure I (Page 28), shall be substituted by the following :—
"Exposed Cinematographic films (feature films) including sale of video
rights of Indian feature films"
