S.O. 904(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, after consulta- tion with the Reserve Bank of India and United Commercial Bunk, by which Bardhaman Gramin Bank has been sponsored, specifics Burdwan as the place where Bardhaman Gramin Bank shall have its head office.

NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 24th November, 1980S.O. 905(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies for the purposes of the said sub-clause, Bardhaman Gramin Bank, Burdwan being an institution established under sub- section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976). S.O. 903(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, being requested so to do by United Commercial Bank, establishes, with effect from the 25th November, 1980 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of West Bengal under the name of Bardhaman Gramin Bank which shall operate within the local limits of the districts of Burdwan and Hooghly in the State of West Bengal. NOTIFICATION

S.O. 906(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of IntHn Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Reserve Bank of India hereby directs the inclusion in the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following bant, namely :—

"Bardhaman Oramin Bank, Burdwan, West Bengal."
