NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th December, 1980
8.O. 942(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948J, the Central Government hereby appoints the 7th day of December, 1980 ns the date on which the provisions of Chapter IV (except section 44 and 45 which have already been brought into force) and Chapter V and VI [except sub- section (1) of section 76 and sections 77, 78, 79 and 81 which have already been brought into force] of the said Act shall come into force in the following; areas in the State of Punjab, namely :—
(i) Municipal limits of Hoshiarpur including revenue villages of Naloian (Had Bast No. 225), Hoshiarpur (Had Bast No. 226), Bassi Khawaju (Had Bast No. 227), Choli (Had Bast No. 228), Bass! lana (Had Bast No. 229), Khwas Pur (Had Bast No. 246), Prem Garh (Had Bast No. 247), Darapur (Had Bast No, 248), Sote- had (Had Bast No. 249), Sikhlian (Had Bast No. 357), Bahadur- pur (Had Bast No. 358), Sukhia Bad (Had Bast No 359), Salwara (Had Bast No, 360); and
(ii) revenue village of Chohal (Had Bast No. 494) in the District of
HoshJarpur.
