New Delhi, the 11th December, 1980
S.O. 960(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of Section 5 read with sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Kireet Joshi. Educational Adviser, Ministry of Education A Culture, to be a Member of the University Grants Commission for a term of three years with immediate effect, vice Shri P. Sabanayagam, who has since retired from Govern- ment service.
