का. था. 887 (अ) मर्दमाधारण की जानकारी के लिए अधिसूचित किया जाना
है कि-
(क ) उच्चतम न्यायालय ने सिविल अपील सं . 1349/80 (हाजी अनवर अहमद खान , अपीलार्थी बनाम पंजाब वक्फ बोर्ड और अन्य , प्रत्यशी ) और सिथिल अपील में . 1102/80 ( ख्वाजा खलील उन्नाह , अपीलार्थी बनाम हाजी अनवर अहमद खान , प्रत्यथी) में अपने तारीख 23 जुलाई , 1930 के यादेश द्वारा यह घोषित किया है कि श्री हाजी अनवर अहमद खान उदन आदेश

किए जाने की तारीख से , पंजाब बक्फ बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष नही रह गए हैं और उप्क्त अपीलों में अध्यक्ष पद के अन्य दावेदारों ने उक्त अध्यक्ष पद पर अपने वाये छोड़ विए हैं और यह निवेश किया है कि उक्त आदेश के परिणामम्दभ्य पंजाब वक्फ बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष पद पर हुई रिक्ति को भरने कलिए बोर्ड का एक अधिवेशन उक्त आदेश के अनसार किया जाए ;
(ख ) उल जादेश में उच्चतम न्यायालय के निवेशाणुसार श्री टी. वी . आर टाटाचारी , सेवा निवृत्त मुख्य न्यायाधिपति , दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय ने पंजाब वक्फ बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष का निर्वाचन करने के लिए दिल्ली में तारीख 31-3-1980 को बोर्ड का एक अधिवेशन वलाया था ;
(ग ) उक्त अधिवेशन में , बेगम शमशाद दर को पंजाब वक्फ बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष के रूप में निर्वाचित घोषित किया गया था; और
(घ) उक्त आदेश में उच्चतम न्यायालय के निदेशानुसार श्री टी . बी. आर . टाटावारी ने कार्यवृत्त पुस्तक बेगम शमशाद दर को सौंप दी है और बेगम शमशाद दर ने 31-8-1980 की और से ही पंजाब वक्फ बोर्ड का अध्यक्ष पद ग्रहण कर लिया है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 15th December , 1980
S.O. 967 ( E ) .-It is hereby notified for the Information of the general public :-
(a) that the Supreme Court , by its order dated 23rd July , 1980 in Civil Appcal No. 1349 of 1980 ( Haji Anwar Ahmed Khan , appellant vs. Punjab Wakf Board and others , rsepondent ) and Civil Appeal No. 1102 of 1980 ( Khwaja Khaleel Ullah , appellant vs. llaji Anwar Ahmed Khan, respondent ) declared that Shri Haji Anwar Ahmed Khan ccased to be the Chairman , Punjab Wakf Board from the date of making of the said order and the other claimants to the office of Chairman in the said appeal had given up their claims to the said ollice of Chairman , and direct that a meeting of the Bourd be held in accordance with the said order for filling in the vacancy in the office of the Chairman of the Punjab Wakf Board created as a result of the said order ;
(b ) that as per the directions of the Supreme Court in the said order , Shri T.V.R. Tatachari , retired Chief Justice of Delhi High Court convened a meeting of the Board on 31-8-1980 at Delhi for electing the Chairman of the Punjab Wakf Board ;

( c ) that at the said meeting , Begum Shamshad Dar was declared elected as Chairman of the Punjab Wakf Board ; and
(d) that as per the ducetiors of the Supreme Court in the said order , Shri T.V.R. Tatachari handed over the Minutes Book to Begum Shamshad Dar and that she assumed the office of the Chairman of the Punjab Wakf Board on and from 31-8-1980 .
