Subject : Indo-Nepal Trade
F. No. IPC/54/76/80-81.—Attention is invited to Depart- ment of Commerce Public Notict No. 74-ETC(PN), 78, dated the 18th November, 1978 regarding Indo-Nepal Trade.
2. Para 3 of the said Public Notice and the annexure thereto shall be deleted and substituted by the following :—

Subject : Transfer/loaning of imported goods.

No. HB/XY/(20)/80-81/HB Cell—Attention is invited to the provisions made in paragraphs 369—380 of the Hand Book of Import-Export Procedures, 1980-81, published under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 10-ITC(PN)/80 dated the 15th April, 1980, pertaining to transfer/loaning of imported goods.
2. In this connection it may be clarified that the said provisions would apply even in cases where the Actual User is unable to utilise the imported goods for the reason that the goods, in question, had been damaged in fire or other- wise or have been rendered unfit for use.
