New Delhi, the 9th February, 1981
G.S.R. 54(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (i) of clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government hereby specifies the num- ber of persons mentioned in column (2) of the Table below to be appointed by that Government to represent the interests men- tioned in column (1) of the said Table on the Board of Trustees of the Port of New Mangalore.

146 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART I1-—SEC. 3fi)]CS.R- 55(L).—In pursuance of (he provisions of sub-clause (ii) of clause (c) of sub-section d) of section 3 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), tho Central Government hereby specifies the number of persons mentioned in column (4) of ihe Table below to be elected by each of the bodies, to represent each of the interests, shown respeclhcly in the corresponding entries in columns (2) and (3) of the said Table, on the Board of Trustees of the Port of New Mangalore:
Provided that in the case of the body mentioned against each of the serial numbers 5, 6 and 7 of the said Table, Being owned or controlled by the Government, the persons to be elected by each such body shall be appointed by the Central Government.

2. In pursuance of sub-section (4) of section 3 of the afore- said Act, the Central Government hereby specifies the period ending with the 10th March, 1981 as the period within which the election of Trustees shall be held.
3. This notification shall come into force on the 1st April,
1981.
