ment of Industrial Development) No. S.O. tl2(E)!l8AA; IDRA;79, dated 26th February, 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the Industrial Un- dertaking known as Messrs Brentford Electric (India) Limit- ed, Calcutta, was taken over under clause (a) of sub-section i l) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of six months upto and inclusive of 25th August, 1979 and the \ndrew Yule & Company Limited, Calcutta, was authorised to take over the management of the said industrial undertak- ing;

And whereas by the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry' (Department of Industrial Deve- lopment) No. S.O 476(E)I18AA|IDRA|79, dated the 22nd August, 1979 and No. SO. 637(E)|18AAllDRA;8O, dated the 23rd August. 1980, the duration of the said Order was exfended for a further period upto and inclusive of the 2Sth February, 1981;

And wheieas, the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said industrial undertaking should continue under the management of (he Andrew Yule & Company Limited for a further period of one \ear;

Now. therefore, in exercise of the powers confened by sub- section (2) of section 18AA on the said Act, the Central Gov- ernment hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period of one year upto and inclu- sive of the 25th February, 1982.

No. 5(14)|78-CUS] S.O. 127 (E),18FB|1DRAI81.—Whereas by two Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Depart- ment of Industrial Development) No, S.O. 124(E)|18FB| IDRA|79, dated the 5th March, 1979. No. S.O. ?30(E)| 18FB|IDR\;79, dated the 9th March, 1979 (hereinafter refer- red to as the said Orders) the Central Government, in exer- cise of the powers, conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18FB of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act. 1951 (65 of 195¹), had declared that the operations of all contracts, assurances of property, agreements, settlements, awards, standing order or other instruments, in force imme- diately before the dates of the issue of the said orders, to which the industrial undertaking know as Messrs Brentford Electric (India) Limited, Calcutta, was a party or which might be applicable to the said industrial undertaking, should remain suspended for a period upto the 25th August, 1979 and that all rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before the said date should remain sus- pended for a period up to and inclusive of 25th August, 1979;

And whereas, by the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Deve- lopment) No S.O 477(E)'/18FB/IDRA/79, dated the 22nd August. 1979 and No. S.O. 638(E)|18FB|1DRA!8O, dated the 23rd August, 1980, the duration of the said Orders was ex- tended for a further period up to and inclusive of the 25th February, 1981;

And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the duration of the said orders should be extended for a further neriod of one year upto and inclusive of the 25th February, 1982;
