NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd March, 1981
S.R.O. 10E.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (I) of section 14 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924), the Central Government, being satisfied that for the administration of the Cantonment, it is desirable to vary the constitution of the Cantonment Board, Meerut, hereby makes a declaration to that effect and further directs that the constitu- tion of the said Board shall stand varied for a period of nine months with effect from the 3rd March, 1981.

II—SEC. 4]S.R.O. 11-E.—In pursuance of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924) read with the noti- fication of the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence No. S.R.O. 10-E dated the 2nd March, 1981, published in the Government of India, Extraordinary Gazette, Part II Section 4 dated the 2nd March, ]981, the Central Government hereby notifies that the following two persons have been nominated by the Officer Commanding the Station to be the members of tho Cantonment Board, Meerut with effect from 3rd March, 1981 :—
1. Col. V.K. Tiwari nominated under clauso (b) of sub-section (2) of section 14
2. Shri Sunder Lai Jain nominated under clause (c) son of of sub-section (2) of section 14.
