S.O. 194(E).—In exercise ol" the powers confcncd by Section 3 of the Census Act, 1948 (37 of 1948), the Central Government hereby declare that a Census of the population of the Stato of Jammu & Kashmir shall be taken during the year 1981. The reference date for the Censui shall be tho sunrise of 6th May, 1981.
