G.S.R. 189{E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the' 'Central Excbe Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts high density polyethelene (HDPE) was.e arising during Ihe manufacture of high dentity polyethelene monofilamcnt yarn and falling under Item No. 18(IV) of the First Schedule >o the Central Excise and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon.
