NOTIFICATIONS

CUSTOMS
G.S.R. 251(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking, No. 206-Customs dated the 2nd August, 1976, namely :—
In the said notification, in item (5), for entry (iii), the
following entry shall be substituted, namely :—
"(iii) Spare parts, accessories, jigs, tools testing equip- ment, components, special raw materials and half wroughts like steel foreings and castings to be processed into finished components for armoured find specialised vehicles peculiar to the Defence
Services."

600 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)lG.S.R. 253(E).—In exeicise of the powers confened by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 uf 1962), the Central Oovcrnmcnt, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public intcicst so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 2-Customs, dated the 1st January, 1979, namely :—
In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1981", the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1982" shall be substituted.

G.S.H, 252(£).—In exercise of the poweis conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act. 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in tho notification of the Gov- ernment of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking No. 198-Customs dated 2nd August, 1976, namely :—
In the said notification—•
(i) for the words "armour platen", the word) "unfinished
armour plates'' shall be substituted ;
(li) in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words ''31st day of March, 1981", the flguies, lettcn and words "31st day of March, 1983" shall be 'ubstituted.

G.S.R. 254(E).—In exercise of the poweis confeired by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Gov- ernment of India in the Ministry of. Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 179-Customs dated the 22nd August, 1979, namely :—
In paragraph 2 of the, said notification for the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1981" the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1982" shall be substituted.
