NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, tire 1st April, 1980

G.S.R. 193(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 1976 (60 of 1976), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of April, 1980, as the day on which the following provisions of the said Act shall come into lore*, namely :—

(i) section 76;

(ii) section 77.
