CENTRAL EXCISES
G.&R. 278(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of ru& 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 17/70- Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1970, namely :—
In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, in Serial No. 1U Ihe
woids "whether packed in cans or foil packets" shall be omitted.
