G SR .298 (E).—In pursuance of rule 2A of the anti- quities and Art Treasures Rules, 1973, read with clause (b) of Section 2 of the Antiquities and Ait Treasures Act, 1972 quities and Art Treasures Rules, 1973, read with clause (b) of Section 2 of the Antiquities and Art Treasures Act. 1972 (53 of 1972) the Central Government hereby constitute the following committee for considering and submitting a report on the artistic and aesthetic value of human works of Art relating to Paintings and Manuscripts proposed to be declared as art tresurcs :
THE COMMITTEE FOR PAINTINGS AND MANUS- CRIPTS :

The term of the committee shall not before more than three years from the date of this notification, provided that it can be extended for not more than one year at ;i time by notification in the Official Gazette.
2. The Director (Antiquities). Archeologkal Siirvey of India, shall function as the Convenor of the aforesaid Com- mittee.
