O R D ER

New Delhi, the 6th May, 1981

G,S.H.321(E). Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary and expedient so lo do for securing the equi- table distribution of tho essential commodity, namely, fertiliser.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Central Governm-nt hereby directs that tho manufactures specified in the schedule given below :

1. shall sell to the registered fertiliser dealers in the States, Union Territories and the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 of the said schedule fertilisers of the description and quantity mentioned therein during the period 1st February, 1981 to 31st July, 1981 at the rate of one-sixth of the quantity specified in the schedule in a monthjand

2. shall submit to the Central Government and the State Governments or Union Territories and Commodity Boards partainlng to the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 of the said schedule a statement by 10th day of every month containing therein:—

(i) The quantity of fertilisers despatched to various dealers in the States, Union Territories and the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 with the d;i(es of despatch during previous month; and

(ii) The quantity of fertilisers which the said manufacturers proposes to despatch to the various dealers in tho State, Union Territories and Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 In the succeeding month.
