NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th Maidi, 1981
O.N.24(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commis- sion hcicby appoints each of the officers of the Government as specified in column 2 of the Table below as Assistant Returning Officers in addition to the offkers appoin- ted in its notification No. 434/AS/79(2), dated the 19th October, 1979, to assist the Returning Officer of the parliamentary constituency in the State of Assam as specified in column (1) of the said Table in the performance of the functions of such Returning Officer.
