का० आ० 355 (भ) . बीजरहित इमली श्रेणीकरण और चिहुनाकन ( संशोधन) नियम, 1980 का एक प्रारूप, कृषि उपज ( श्रेणीकरण और चिह्ननांकन ) अधिनियम, 1937 ( 1937 का 1 ) की धारा 3 की अपेक्षानुमार , भारत मरकार के ग्रामीण पुननिर्माण मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सं ० का ० प्रा० 1623 , तारीख 29 मई, 1980 के अधीन, भारत के राजपत्र, भाग 2, खण्ड 3 उपखण्ड ( 2 ) , तारीख 14 जून, 1980 के पृष्ठ 1900 मे 1903 पर प्रकाणित किया गया था, जिममें उम तारीख से, जिसको उस राजपत्र की प्रतियां, जिसमें उक्त अधिसूषना प्रकाशित की जाती है , जनना को उपलब्ध कराई जाती हैं, पेंतालीस दिन को धर्वाध की समाप्ति के पूर्व उन सभी व्यक्तियो मे श्राक्षेप और सुझाव मांगे गए थे , जिनके उससे प्रभावित होने की संभावना थी ;
और उक्त राजपत्र की प्रनिया 20 जून , 1980 को जनना को उपलब्ध करा दी गई थी ,
और केन्द्रीय सरकार न उक्त प्रारूप की बाबत जनना से प्राप्त टीका टिप्पणियो/सुझावो पर विचार कर लिया है ;

अतः , केन्द्रीय सरकार , उक्त अधिनियम की धारा उद्वारा प्रदत्न शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात् --
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमो का मंश्क्षिीत नाम बीजरहित हमली श्रेणीकरण श्रीर चिहनांकन ( संशोधन ) नियम, 1981 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. बीज रहित इमली श्रेणीकरण भोर चिह नाकन नियम, 1971 में,
(1 ) नियम 3 में, " अनुसूची " शब्द के स्थान पर " अनुसूची 1 श्रीर 2 " शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे ।
(2) नियम 1 में, " अनुसूची के स्तंभ 2 से 8 तक" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर " अनुसूची 1 और 2 के स्वन 2 से 6 तरु णग्न श्रौर अंक रखे जाएंगे ।
(3 ) नियम 7 के उपनियम ( 1 ) में, खण्ड ( 4) के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित जोड़ा जाएगा, अर्थात्--
"कृषि विपणन सलाहकार या इस सबंध में उसके द्वारा प्राधिकृत तिमी अधिकारी के पूर्वानुमोदन से किसी अन्य किस्मों के ग्रागानों में और/या भाकारों में की जाएगी " ।
( 4) अनुसूची के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित अनुसूची रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात् --

1. इमली का गूदा टेमेरिकस इंडिका के परिपक्व फल से पहले छिलके को और फिर गूबे और बीज के ऊपर की तन्तुमय झिल्ली को उतारने के धाव प्राप्त किया जाएगा ।
(2) गूदा अच्छी तरह सुखाया जाएगा और केक के रूप में संपीड़ित किया जाएगा ।
(3) गूदा कीट प्रभाव से या जीवित कीट, फफूंदी और रोडेट सपूषण से मुक्त होगा ।
( 4) केक कृष्के लाल में चमकीले भूरे रंग का होगा ।
( 5) गूदे में इमली का ही विशिष्ट स्वाद श्रऔर गंध होगी और यह किसी भी प्रकार की दुर्गंध से मुक्त होगा ।
*कार्बनिक विजातीय पदार्थ के अन्तर्गत फल के अन्य भाग , जैसे फाइबर, स्ट्राण्ड श्रौर छिलके होगे ।
**अकार्बनिक विजातीय पत्रार्थ , से पत्थर, गई, वल और अकार्बनिक प्रकृति कायोर्ड अन्य विजातीय पदार्थ अनिप्रेन है ।
अविनिर्दिष्ट श्रेणी किसी विदेशी नेता द्वारा बाछिन उपज की माला और क्वालिटी उपशिन करन हुए उनके "विनिषिद्ध आदण " पर ही अनुशात की जाएगी ।
नमक बीज रहित इमली में यदि नमक तत्व मौज़व है तो वह 2 प्रतिशत से अधिक नही होगा ।

1. इमली का गूदा टेर्मोरडम इंडिका के परिपक्व फल से पहले छिनके को और फिर गूदे और बीज के ऊपर की तन्नुमय झिल्ली को उनारने के बाद प्राग्न किया जाएगा ।

4. केक हलके से गाढ़े काले रंग का या हल्के लाल से चमकीले भूरे और काले रंगो का मिश्रण या उनके विनरीत होगा ।
5. गूदे में इमली का ही विशिष्ट स्वाद और गंध होगी और वह किमी भी प्रकार की दुर्गन्ध से मुक्त होगा ।
*कार्बनिक विजानीय पदार्थ के अंतर्गन फल के अन्य भाग , जैसे फाइबर, स्ट्राण्ड और छिलके होंगे ।
** अकार्बनिक-विजातीन पदानं मे पत्थर, गर्द, धून ओर अकार्बनिका प्रकृति का कोई अन्य विजातीय पदार्थ अभिप्रेत है ।
ग्रिनिनिविष्ट श्रेणी किसी विदेगी क्रेता द्वाग वांष्टिन उपज की मात्रा और क्वालिटी उपशित करते हुए उसके " विनिदिष्ट आदेश " पर ही अनुज्ञात की जाएगी ।
नमक: बीज रहित इमली में यदि नमक तत्व मौजूद हैं तो वह 2 प्रतिशत से अधिक नहीं होगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 7th May, 1981 .
S.O. 355 (E) .--Whereas a draft of the Seedless Tamarind Grading and Marking (Amendment) Rules , 1980 , was published , as required by section 3 of the Agricultural Produce ( Grading and Marking ) Act , 1937 (1 of 1937) , at pages 1900 to 1903 of the Gazette of India Part II , Section 3 , Sub-section(ii ) , dated the 14th June , 1980, under the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Rural Re- construction, No. S.O. 1623 , dated the 29th May, 1980, inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of the period of fortyfive days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette in which the said notification is published are made available to the public;
Andwhereas the copies of the said Gazette were made available to the public on the 20th June , 1980 .
Andwhereas comments ' suggestions received from the public in respect of the said draft have been considered by the CentralGo vernment;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules , namely :-
1. ( 1) These rules may be called the Seedless Tamarind Grading and Marking (Amendment) Rules, 1981 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Seedless Tamarind Grading and Marking Rules , 1971 ,-
(1) In rule 3 , for the word " Schedule " , the words and figures " Schedule I and II " shall be substituted .
(2) in rule 4 , the words and figures " 2 to 8 of the Schedule " , the words and figures " 2 to 6 of the Schedules I and II " shall be substi tuted.
(3) in rule 7, in sub - rule ( 1) , after clause ( iv) , the following shall be added , namely :-
"(v) in any other types of containers and/ or sizes with the prior approval of the Agricultural Marketing Adviser or an officer authorised by him in this regard. "
(4) for the Schedule, the following Schedules shall be substituted , namely :-

1. The Tamarind pulp shall have been obtained from the mature fruits of Tamarindus indica , by removing first the rind and then the fibrous skeleton enclosing the pulp and the seeds .
2. The pulp shall be well dried and com. pressed into cakes .
3. The pulp shall be free from insect in- festation or live insects , mould rodent contamination and deleterious subs- tances .
4. The colour of the cake shall be light red to tinged brown .
5. The pulp shall have the characteristic taste and flavour and shall be free from any obnoxious odour .
*Organic-Foreign matter will consist of other parts of fruit which as fibre strand and rind .
** Inorganic-Foreign matter means stones , dust , dirt and any other foreign material of inorganic nature .
+Non- specified Grade shall be allowed only against a " specific order " from the foreign buyer indicating the quantity and quality of the produce desired .
Salt: Salt content in seedless Tamarind, if present , all not exceed 2 % .

Salt : The salt content in seedless tamarind , if present , shall not exceed 2 %.
