ORDER
New Delhi, the 2(>th October, 1981
SO. 758(E)./18FB/roRA/8J -Whereas, by the order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 7OS(E)/18AA/1DRA/81, dated the 19Lh September, 1981, the m"nag<;- ment of Messrs Orissa Textile Mills Limited, Chowdwar, District Cuttack, Orisaa (hereinafter referred to as the said industrial undertaking), has been taken over under cluasc (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Indus- tries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of one year from the date of the publication of the said Order in the Olflcial Gazette ;
And, whereas the Central Government is satisfied that in relation to the said industiial undertaking, it is necessary so to do in the interest of the general public with a view to preventing fall in the volume of production in the sche- duled industry, namely, the cotton textile induslry ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred hy clause (b) of tub- section (1) of section 18FB of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the operation of all contiacts, assurances of property, agreements, Kettlcmenls, awards, standing orders or other instruments in force immediately before the date of issue of this Order (other than those i elating to secured liabilities to banks and financial institutions) to which theh said industrial Under- taking ia a party or which may be applicable to such industrial •undertaking, and all obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before the said dflte shall remain suspended for a period upto and inclusive of 18th September, 1982.
