New Delhi, the 30th October, 1981
5.O. 780 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of aec- tioji 4 of the, Gold (Control) Act, 1968 (45 of 1968), I, M. V. N. Rao, the Administrator appointed under section 4 of the said Act, hereby autho- rise every Gold Control Officer of the rank of Collector of Central Excise or Collector of Customs to exercise the powers exercisable by me under sub-sec- tion (6) of section 8 read with section 9 of the said Act in respect of granting extension of time beyond the period mentioned in part (b) of the first proviso and the second proviso in the Notification No. S. O. 623 (E), dated 16-8-1980 as amended by Notification No. S. O. 853 (E), dated 23-10-1980.
