NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31st October, 1981
S.O. 781(E).—In exercise of the poweis conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Centre] Government hereby makes the following fuither amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and lnsuiance) No. 75/75-Custooms, dated the 3rd July, 1975, namely :—
In the Table annexed to the said notification, against serial number 4, in column 3, for the entries (i) to (xxii) the following cnteries shall be substituted, namely:—
(i) Handicrafts;
(iv) Electronic goods, their accessories and spare parts;
(v) Engineering goods and machinery including machine tools, handtools, their accessories a nd spare parts ; (vi) Aeronautical equipment their accessories and spare parts ;
(vii) Automobile ancillaries, accessories and spare parts;
(viii) Wrist Watches, their accessories and spare parts ;
(ix) Pharmaceuticals and rugs ;
00 Books, periodicals and other printed material includ- ing diagrams, blue prints and drawings ;
(xi) Articles of food all sorts whether perishable or other- wise;
(xil) Leather goods ;
(xiii) Sandalwood oil;
(xiv) Agarbatties;
(xv) Carpets ;
(xvi) Semi-precious stone*;
(xA'ii) Live plants, flowers and seeds;
(xviii) Printing material like photo composed ptige proofs, Bromide Prints, Negative and Positive films, Perfo- rated paper tapes, loaded floppy discs and manu- icript pages."
Explanatory Note : The list of items that can be exported by air from Bangalore has been revised and wherever necessary general heading have been inserted instead of giving the name of indivi- dual articles. The revised list will thus cover a number of additional items besides all the items covered by the eailicst.
