NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 13th November, 1981
G.S.R. 597(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts pig iron, when imported into India, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) and the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the second mentioned Act.
2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of
the 15th May, 1982.

1724 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(I)of 1962), the Central Governmcpt, being satisfied that it u r.£ xssary in the public interest so to do, hereby • exempts tinmill black plate, when imported into India for the manu- facture of tin plates, from the whole of the duty of cus- toms leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (.51 of 1975) and the fidditional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the second mentioned Act.
2 This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of
the- 30th September, 1982.

G.SJI. 598(E).~In exercise of the powers contered by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section |(4) of section 47 of the Finance Act, 1981 (16 of 1981), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (.Department of Revenue) No. 129-Cmtoms, dated the 12th May, 1981, namely :-^
In the Schedule to the said notification, after Serial No. 203 and the entry relating thereto, the following Serial No. and entry shall be inserted, namely:—
"204. No. 241-Customs, dated the 13th November,
1981".

G.S.R, 600(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 47 of the Finance Act, 1981 (16 of 1981), the Central Govern- ment, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 129-Customs, dated the 12th May, 1981, namely :—
In the Schedule to the said notification, after Serial No. 204 and the entry relating thereto, the following Serial No. and entry shall be Inserted, namely :^—
"205 No. 243-Custonu, dated the 13th November,
1981".
