R. 609 (E).—Io exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Ai-t, 1951 (61 of 1951) read with sub-rule (2) of Rule 4 of the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, theCentral Government, la con- sultation with the Oovt. of Oujarat, hcroby ma!w> ths following regulations further to amend the Indian Police Servlct (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, namely :—
1. (I) These Regulations may bo called the Indian Police Strvicc (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Fifth Anundme'it Regula- tions, 1981.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Gazettt of India,
2. In the Sohet ule to the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulation . 1955, for the hcac'iog "GUJA- RAT" and tho entries occurring thereunder the f'.lliwhg shall be substituted, namely:—

R. 610 (E).—In exen-lso of the powers conferred by •ub-section (l)cf Section 3 of the All India Service- Ait 1951 (61 of 1951) read with rule 11 of the Indian Police Si rvice (Pay) Rules, 1954, the Central Government In consultation with the Government of Gujarat, heroby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Polico Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, namely : -
1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian police Service
(Pay) Fifth Amendment Rules, 1981.
(2) They shall come into force on th3 date of th?ir publication
in the Gazette of India.
2. In Schedule III appended to the Indian Polics Service
(Pay) Rules, 1954 :—
