ORDER
New Delhi, the 24th November 1981
S.O. 825(E) 18AA/IDRA/81.—Whereas by the order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 826(E)/ 18AA/IDRA/76, dated 25th November, 1976 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the whole of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Pulgaon Cotton Mills Limited, Pulgaon, was taken over under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for, a period of five years upto and inclusive of the 24th November, 1981 and the Mahaiashtra State Textile Corporation was authorised to take over the management of the said Industrial undertaking.
And, whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said industrial undertaking should continue under the management of the Maharashtra State Textile Corporation for a further period of six months upto the 24th May, 1982 ;
1 4 40 T HE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART H—SEC. 3(ii)]No. S.O. 826 (E)/18FB/IDRA/81.—Whereas by the oriiei' of the Government of India In the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 826^)/18±-B/lDRA/76, dated the ?-3rd December, 1976 (hercinailcr referred to as the said order) the Central Gov- ernment, in exercise of the powcis conferred by clause (b) oi sub-section (1) of section 18FB of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 C.65 of 1951), declared that the operations of all or any of the contracts, assurances of property agreements, settlements, awards, standing orders or other instilments in force immediately before the date of issue of the said order (other than the liabilities to the State Bank of India to the extent of the amounts outstanding on the clean cash crtedit limit guaranteed by the Government of M'aharashlra and the amounts drawn by the mill against the cash credit atxount (ordinary) to the extent these are covered in the current assets) to which the industrial under- luking known as Messrs Pulgaon Cctton Mills Limited,' Pulgaon, is a party or which may be applicable to the said industrial undertaking shall remain suspended for a period of one year from such date and that all the rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or eiising thereunder before the said date shall remain suspended for the laid period;
And whereas the duration of the said order was extended from time to time, the last of such extensions being upto and inclusive of 24th November, 1981 ;
And wheiieas the Central Government is satisfied that the duration of the said o;der should be extended for a further period upto and inclusive of 24th May, 1982 ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1), read with sub-section (2), of section 18FB of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said order upto and inclusive of 24th May, 1982.
