G.S.R, 620IK).—In exeitbc of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 2<- ol" the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) rend with sab-section (4) of section 47 of tbe Finance Act, 1981 (16 of 1981), the Cential Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby make* the following amendment in the notifiOUion of the Government of India in the Ministry tit Finance {Department of Tlevenuc) No 114-Custotns, dated tbe 12th May, 1981, namely :—
