सा० फा ० नि० 648 ( अ) -केन्द्रीय सरकार, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियस और नमक अधिनियम, 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की धारा 37 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम , 1944 का ग्रौर संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क ( संशोधन ) 22यां नियम, 1981 है ।
( 2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम , 1944 में,
(क ) नियम 64 से 72 तक ( जिगमें वोनी सम्मिलित हैं) 74 , 76, 78,79,80,82,98,99, और 231 में बंडरोल" शब्द के स्थान पर जहां कहीं वह आता है , "केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क स्टॉप " शब्द रखे जाएगे और ऐसे अन्य पारिणा- मिक संशोधन भी किए जाएंगे जो व्याकरण के नियमों द्वारा अपेक्षित हों ।

(ख) नियम 76 मे, " बैलरौल म लगी हुई वियासलाइयों " शब्दों के स्थान पर "वियासलाक्ष्यां, जिन पर केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क स्टांप नहीं लगाई गई है" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ;
( ग) नियम 78 में " बैंडरोल न लगी हुई माथिसें " शब्दों के स्थान पर " वियासलाइयां , जिन पर केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क स्टांप नहीं लगाई गई है" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।
(घ) नियम 79, में, "बैंडरोल न लगी हुई माचिसें" शब्दों के स्थान पर " माचिसें जिस पर केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क स्टांप नहीं लगाई गई है" शब्द रखखे जाएंगे ।
(ङ) नियम 98 में , शीर्षक में, "बैंडरोल न लगा हुआ भौर लेबल न लगः हुआ। सामान" शब्दों के स्थान पर " सामात , जिस पर केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क स्टांप नहीं लगाई गई है और लेबल न लगाया गया सामाम" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ;
(थ) परिशिष्ट में-
(( i) केन्द्रीय उत्पाद श्रंखलाघों में, "केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क प्रारूपों की सूची" " शीर्षक के नीचे 22 , 22-क , 23,40,72,73 और 83 में "बैंडरोल" शब्द के स्थान पर "केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क स्टांप" शब्द रखे जाएंगे;
( ii ) केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क श्रंखला 22 , 22-5 , 23 37,40,41,72,73 भौर 83 में , " ( 2) ममूना प्रश्प THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY

शीर्षक के नीचे " बैडरोल " शब्द के स्थान पर जहा कही बह आता है "केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क स्टॉप " रखे जाएंगे और ऐसे अन्य परिणामिक सशोधन भी किए जाएंगे , जो कि व्याकरण के नियमो द्वारा अपेक्षित हो ।

No. 198 /81 - CENTRAL EXCISES
G.S.R. 648 ( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 ( 1 of 1944) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Excise Rules , 1944, namely :-
1. ( 1) These rules may be called the Central Excise ( 23rd Amendment ) Rules , 1981 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publi- cation in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , -
(a) in rules 64 to 72 (both inclusive ) , 74, 76 , 78 , 79 , 80, 82, 98, 99 and 231 , for the word "banderol " , wherever it occurs , the words " Central Excise stamp " shall be substituted, and such other conse- quential amendments as the rules of grammar may require shall also be made;
(b) in rule 76, for the words " Unbanderolled Matches", the words "Matches Not Affixed with Central F- cise Stamp" shall be substituted;
(c) in rule 78 , in sub - rule ( 1) , in clause ( iii ) , for the words "unbanderolled matches " , the words "matches not affixed with Central Excise stamp " shall be substi- tuted;
(d) in rule 79, for words " Unbanderolled matches " , the words "Matches not affixed with Central Excise stamp" shall be substituted;
not (e) in rule 98 , in the heading, for words " Unbanderolled and unlabelled goods " , the words "Goods affixed with Central Excise stamp and unlabelled goods" shall be substituted ;
(f) in Appendix I,.-
( i) under the heading " ( 1) List of Central Excise Forms " , in Central Excise Series 22 , 22-A, 23 , 40, 72, 73 and 83 , for the word " banderols" , the words " Central Excise stamps " shall be substitu- ted;
( ii) under the heading "( 2) Specimen Forms " , in Cen- tral Excise Series 22, 22 -A, 23 , 37, 40, 41 , 72 , 73 and 83 , for the word " banderols " , wherever it occurs, the words " Central Excise stamps " shall be substituted, and such other consequential amendments as the rules of grammar may re- quire shall also be made .

सा० क१०नि० 649 ( प्र) केन्द्रीय सरकार , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम, 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रवत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , यह निदेश देती है कि इसके साथ उपाबद्ध सारणी के स्तभ ( 2)में विनिर्दिष्ट भारत सरकार के विस मंत्रालय ( गजस्व विभाग )

उक्त अधिसूचना के स्पष्टीकरण के, खण्ड ( स) के उपखंड(च) में, "बैंडगेल लगाना ' शब्द के स्थान पर "केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क स्टांपो का लगाया जाना" शब्द रखे जाएगे ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance(Department of Revenue) , specified in column (2) of the Tablo hereto annexed shall be further amended, in the manner specified in the corres- ponding entry in column (3 ) of the said Table .

In the Table annexed to the said notification, in Serial No. 4 relating to " Matches " , in column ( 5) , for the word , " bande- rols" , the words " Central Excise stamps" , shallbe substituted .
