ORDER

New Delhi, the 5th January, 1982S.O. 7(E)18AA[IDRA|82.—Whereas by the order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Depart- ment of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 18(E)/18AA/ 1DRA/79 dated the 6th January, 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the said order), the management of the unit of Messrs Sri Rama Sugars and Indusfrie- Lirnited Manufacturing Sugar at Seethanagaram in District Srikakulam in the State of Andhra Pradesh, (hereinafter referred to as the said in- dustrial undertaking), was taken over under clause (b) of sub-section (.1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951) for a period of 3 years upto and inclusive of 5th January, 1982 and the Nizam Sugar Factory Limited was authorised to take over the management of the said Industrial Undertaking; And, whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said industrial (25) 1170 GI/81

undertaking should continue under (ho management of tne Nizam Sugar Factory Limited for a further period upto and inclusive or the 3rd August, 1982 ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs that the said order shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of 3rd August, 1982.

8.0. 8 (E)|18FB|ipRA[81:—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India iu the Ministry of Industry (Depart- ment of Industrial Development) No. S,O. 9O2(E)]18FB1 1DRA/80 dated the 2lst November, 1980 (hereinafter refer- red to as the said order), the Central Government in exer- cise of powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 1SFB of the Industries (Development and Regula- tion) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), declared that the operation of all contracts, assurances ot property, agreements, settle- ments, awards, standing oidcis or other instruments in force before the date of issue of the said order (other than those which have been entered into, arrived at or come into forco after the 6th Jamiaiy, 1979) to which the unit of Messrs Sri Rama Sugars and Industries Limited manufactur- ing sugar at Seethanagaram in the District of Srikakulam in the State of Andhra Piadesh or the company owning the said unit i5 a party or which may be applicable to the said industrial unit or company shall remain suspended for a period of one year and all rights and prcvilcges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before the issue of the said order shall remain suspended for the said period;

And, whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the duration of the said order as extended upto 5-1-1982 should be extended for a further period upto and inclusive of 3rd August, 1982;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 18FB of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said order for a further period upto and inclusive of the 3rd August, 1982.
