SR.O. 1(E).—In e x c i se of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 2 of the Arrofd Forces (Emergency Dutie=) Act, 1947 (15 of 1947), the Central Government hereby declnres(a) all services in connection with the pro- duction, supply ami distribution or water and electricity including the services under the State electricity Board constituted under the Electricity Supply Act 1948 and (b) any Telegraph and Telephone services in the State of Assam to be services of vital importance to ihc community.
