New Delhi, the 15th January, 1982

No. 9/S2-CUSTOMS

Gij.K. 15(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being salislicd that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts hot rolled stainless steel coils of a width exceeding 500 mm, when imported into India foi cold rolling, from so much of thai portion oE the duly of customs leviable thereon Which is specified in the First Schedule to the Cus- toms Tariff Aci, 1975 (51 of 1975) as is in excess of 100 per cent ad-valorcm.

2. This notification shall be in force iipto and inclusive of flis 15th January,

1983.
