G.8.R fHM).~In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-item (1) of Item No. 3 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and rule 96-F of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Govern- ment makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 184/81- Central Excises dated the 5th November, 19&1 namely ;—
la the Table annexed to the said notification in Zone V, in column 2, for the words "Districts of Lakhimpur", the words "Districts of Dlbrugarh, Lakhimpw" shall be substituted.
