T HE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [EAM-U-SHC. 3(ii)].Now therefore, in exercise of the power conferred by 11 section (1) of thd Section 6 of the said Act, the Central Govern- ment hereby declares that the right ol user in tho said lands specified in the schedule appended to this notification hereby acquired for laying the pipelines;
And further in exercise of power conferred by sub-section (4) of that section, tho Central Government directs that the right of user in the said lands shall instead of vesting in the Central Government vest on this date of the publication of this declaration in the Oil and Natural Gas Commission, free from encumbrances.

S.O. 78(E).— Whereas by a notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Petroleujri, Chemicals and Fertilizers (Department of Petroleum) S.O. No. 2388 Dated 12/9/1981 under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and Mineral Pipe- lines (Acquisition of lighf of user in hind) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962) tho Central Government declared its intention to acquire the rifiht of user in the lands specified in the schedule appended to that notification for the purpose of laying pipeline;
And whereas the Competent Authority has under sub-section (1) of section 6 of the said Act, submitted report to the Govern- ment ;
And further whereas the Central Government has after considering the said report, decided to acquire the right of user tu lands specified in the schedule appended to this notification;
