G.S.R. 7I(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (I) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts "pasteurised miltone" falling under Item No. IB of the First Schedule to the central Excise and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) from the whole of duty of excise leviable thereon.
