1. These rules may be called the Drugs and Cosmetic*
(Amendment) Rules, 1982.
2. In the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.
00 in rule 85-B, after sub-rule (4), the following shall be Inserted, namely:
"(5) Applications by licensee to manufacture additional itema of Homoeopathic medicines shall be made to the licensing authority and such applications shall be actXHnpanied by u fee of rupees five for each additional item."
(II) In rule 85-H,
(i) in clause (c1) in sub-clauses (i), (ii) and (iii) tho following words shall be added In the end, namely:
"for a period of five years".
(il) in clause (f) the following shall be added in the end, namely:
"Such records shall bo maintained for a period of five years,"
(iii) In Schedule A (i) in Form 24-C for entry 1 the following shall be substituted, namely :•—•

-~- —•-•—holder of licence No. i in Form 20-C hereby apply for grant/renewal of licence to manufac- ture tho undermentioned Homeopathic Mother Tincture/potentised and other preparations on the premises situated at——• .—

NOTIFICATION
Now Delhi, the 5th March, 1982
G.SJt. 242(E). The following draft of certain rules fur- ther to amend the Dra^s and Cosmetics Rules, 1945, which the Central Government proposes to make after consultation with the Dru£s Technical Advisory Board, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 12 and 33 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940), is hereby published as required by the said sections for the information of all persons likely to be effected thereby and notice is hereby riven that the said draft rules will be taken into considera- tion after the expiry of u period of ninety days from the date on which the copies of the Official Gazette in which this notification is published are inado available to the public.
Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules before the (Each item to be separately specified).,
(ii) In Form 25-C for entry-1 the following shall be substituted, namely:—
