S.R.O. 8(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 19 47 (15 of 1947), and in continuation of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence S.R.O. No. 14-E dated the 18th April, 1981, S.R.O. No. 15-E dated the 16th May, 1981, S.R.O. No. 17-E dated the 16th June, 1981, S.R.O. No. 18-E dated the 16th July, 1981. S.R.O. No. 21-E dated the 17th August, 1981, S.R.O. No. 22-E dated the 16th September, 1981, S.R.O. No. 25-E dated the 17th October, 1981. S.R.O. No. 26-E dated the 16th November, 1981, S.R.O. No. 32-E dated the 17th December, 1981, S.R.O. No. 4-E dated the 15th January, 1982, and S.R.O. No. 7-E dated the 15lh February, 1982, the Central Government hereby declares every service forming part of, or connect- ed with, the generation, supply, operation and maintenance of petroleum pro- ducts and running of oil installations and pipelines in Assam to be a service of vital importance to the community for a further period of one month with effect from 18th March, 1982.
