BANKING DIVISION
S.O. 227(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (I) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, being requested so to do by State Bank of India establishes, with effect from 3lst March. 1982 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Andhra Pradesh under the name of Manjira Grameena Bank which shall operate within the local limits of the district of Medak in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

S.O. 230.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 11 of the Regional Rural Banks' Act,- lcl7f5 (21 of \l:>lh), the Central Government hereby appoints Shu I, S.idjjv.i Gupta as ihe Chaiiman of the Manjira Gra- mcenu Bank, Sangareddy .ind specified Ihe period commenc- ing on ihe 31-3-1982 and endinK with the 31-3-1985 as the pciiod fot which the said Shri I. Sndasiva Gupta shall hold office as such Chairman.

S.O, 22WE).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 19341, the Central Government hereby notifies, for the purposes of the said sub-clause, Manure Gramecna Bank, Sangareddy being an institution established under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976).
