NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 31st March, 1982
G.S.R. 305(E).—Whereas in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Insecticides Act. 1968 (46 of 1968). the Central Government has nominated,—
432 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] aa the Chairman of the Registration Committee with Immediate effect vice the Director, Indian Agricul- tural Research Institute, New Delhi ;(ii) the Adviser (Chemicals), Ministry of Petroleum, Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Chemicals and fertilisers. New Delhi (a member of the Cent- ral insecticides Board) as a member of the Registration Committee with immediate effect ;
Now, therefore in pursuance of section 5 of the said AU, the Central Government lieiiby makes the following amendment in the notification of ihe Government of India, in the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Agriculture), No, G.S.R. 1542, dated the 13th October, 1971, namely :—
In ihc said notification,—
(i) under the heading "Chairman", for Item (i) and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be substi- tuted, namely :—
"(i) Deputy Director General (Crops Sciences), Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi." ;
(ii) under the heading "Memkvs", for item (v) and cjitry relating thereto tiia following shall bo substituted, namely .—
"(v) The Adviser (Chemicals), Ministry of Petro- leum, Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of
Chemicals and I'ertilizers, New Delhi".

G.S.R. 306{E).—Whereas in pursuance of clause (xiv) of sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968) (hereinafter referred to 09 the said Act), the Central Government had nominated th? Project Officer in (ho Ministry of Petroleum, Cheml'.als and Fertilisers (De- partment of Chemicals and Fertilisers). Government of India, New Delhi, as a member of the Central Insecticides Board ;
And whereas the said Project Officer has resigned from the
membership of the said Board with effect from 13-5-1981.
And whereas the Central Government nominates the Ad- viser (Chemicals) in the Ministry of Petroleum, Chemicals end Fertilisers (Department of Chemicals and Fertilisers), Government of India, New Delhi, as a member of the said Board vice the said Project Officer ;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of clause (xiv) of sub-section (3) of section 4 of the saij Act, the Central Government hereby makes* the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the late Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (De- partment of Agriculture), No. G.S.R. 478(E) dated the 10th August, 1979, aa follows :—
In the said notification, under the heading "Members Nominated", for iten> (xiv) and entry relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :'—
"(xiv) ..Adviser (Chemicals) in th" Ministry of Petroleum. Chemicals and Fertilizers (Depart- ment of Chemicals and Fertilisers), Government of India. New Delhi,".
