NOTIFICATION

New r&ilii, the 2nd April, 1982

S.O. 236(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (V) of Section 63A of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 (4 of 1939), the Central Govern- ment hereby appoints Shri G. J. Misra, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Shipping and Transport, Government of India, as Chairman of lie Inter-State Transport Commission vice Shri Yashwant Sinha, with effect from the 22nd February, 1982 and makes the following further amendment in the notification to the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport (Transport Wina) No. 2097, dated the 15th July 1978.

In tho said notification, for item (1) and the entry relating thereto, the fol-

lowing shall be substituted, namely :

"(1) Shri G. J. Misra, Joint Secretary (Transport) Ministry of Shipping

and Transport-—Chairman". Transport Wing, New Delhi.
