68 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(iii)] 1*81 as the dale of poll for the said election under section 30 of the said Act ;And whereas the Commission by jis order dated the 20th June, 1981 declared the poll taken on the aforesaid date i.e. the 14th June, 1981, at all the polling stations in Ihe said constituency to be void for the reasons lecordcd therein ;
And whereas the Commission by ith aforesaid order dated the 20th June, 1981 further directed that a fresh poll shall be taken at all the polling stations in the said constituency on a date to be fixed by it after taking into account all the relevant facts and circumstances ;
And whereas the Election Commission, by its notification No. 100/UP-HP/4/80 dated the 29th September, 1981, had fixed the 22nd November, 1981 as- the date for holding the fresh poll at all the polling stutioas in the said constituency ;
And whereas, for the reasons stated in its order dated the 14th November, 1981, the Election Commission had, by it* notification No. 100/UP-HP/4/80(2) dated the 21st Novem- ber, 1981, cancelled the aforesaid dale of re-po|[ fixed on the 22nd Novembei, 1981 and further directed that the fresh poll shall be taken at all the polling stations in the constituency on a date to be fixed by it in due course and for that purpose extended the date of completion of the said election upto the 30th June, 1982 ;
And whereas the Commission, after laking into account the relevant facts and circumstances, has decided to hold the repoll at all the polling stations in the said constituency on Wednesday, ihc 19th May, 1982 ;
Now, therefore, in exercise jf ils powci^ under mticle 324 of the Constitution, sections 30, 56 and 153 of the Rep- resentation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), MCtion 21 of the General Clauses Act. 1897 (10 of 1897) and all other powers enabling it in that behalf and in partial modification of its notification No. 100/UP-HP/4/80, dated the 21st November, 1981, the Election CojiMnission hereby appoints—

(a) the 19th May, 1982 (Wednesday) as the date on which fresh poll shall be taken at all the polling stations in the aforesaid constituency between the hours 7.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.
