S.O. 269(E) —In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (3) of section 1 of the Employees State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 18th day of April, 1982 as the date on which the provisions of Chapter IV (except sections 44 and 45 which have already been brought into force) and Chapters V and VI (except sub-section (1) of section 76 and sections 77, 78, 79 and 81 which have already been brought into

S.O. 270(E).—Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the office of the Presiding Officer of the National Industrial Tribunal, Bombay constituted by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour No. S.O. 80(E) dated 29Lh January, 1980 published at pages 250 to 254 of Part II, section 3, sub-section (ii) of the Gazette of India Extra- ordinary dated the 29th January, 1980 ;
Now, therefore in pursuance of the provisions of section 8 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri M. D. Kambli as the Presiding Officer of the said National Industrial Tri- bunal, Bombay.
