NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th May, 1982
S.O. 307(E).—In exercise of th" powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Employees1 State Insurance Act, 1948 (34- of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 9th day of May, 1982 as the date on which the provisions of Chapter IV (except section 44 and 45 which havo already been brought into force") and Chapters V and VI [except sub-section (1) of section 76 and sections 77, 78, 79 and 81 which have already been brought into forccf of the said Act shall come into force in the following areas in the State of Punjab, namely :—
