4. The registration procedure laid down for importof carbon steel items vide condition No. 32 in Appendix 10 of Import& Export Policy for 1982-83 (Vol. 1) will also apply to the import of alloy steel items allowed under OGL in the import policy for 1982-83. This requirement w'H. however, apply to contracts entered into after 5th July, 1982.
