No. SRV|LAQ[HUDCD|345.—Whereas it appears to the Administrator, Lhc Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli that the lands specified in the schedule hereto arc likely to be needed for a public purpose viz. Construction of quarters for industml and noa industrial 'workers.
It is hereby notified under the provisions of section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1394 (1 of 1894), that the said lands are likely to be needed for the purpose specified above.
All the persons interested in the said lands are hereby warned not lo obstruct or therefore with any Surveyor or the persons employed upon the said lands for the purpose of the said lands acqu sition. Any contracts for the disposal of the said lands by sale, L:ase, mortgage, assignment, ex- change, or otherwise any outlay or i-nprovtment made therein without the sanction of the Collector after the date of this Notification will under section 24 (seventhly) of the said Act, be disregarded by Ihe officer assessing compensation for such yurts of the said l;ind1.. as may bo fin.'illy acquired.
If tho Administiator of the Union 7"erritory of Dadrfi and Nagar Haveli is satisfied that the said lands are needed for the aforesaid purpose, a final notification to that effect under section 6 of the said Act will be published in the Ga/ette of India Government in due coui-.se. If the ai,qui:;ilion_ h abandoned, wholly or in part, the iacts will be duly notified in the Gazette of India Govt.
Under clause (c) of section 3 of the said Acquisition Act, 1894, the Adrninstrulor of tho Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli is pleased to appoint the Dy. Collector (L.R.), Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Silvns.ia to perform the functions of a Collector under section 5-A of said Act, in respect of said lands.
