Subject.—Export of Imitation Zari with silver as an ingredient.
File No. 21/15/81VEI:—Attention is invited to Exports (Control) Order, No. E(C)O, 1977/AM(245), dated the 27th July, 1982, on the above subject.
2. At present, export of Imitation Zari is being allowed under OGL. 3 subject tp the condition that f.o.b. value of the product should be at least 33-1/3 per cent more, than the international price of silver content in the export product. On a review of the matter, it has been decided to continue the present policy of allowing export of Imitation Ztai under OGL. 3 subject only to the condition that the silver content does not exceed 5' p"r cent by weight in the product. However, as hitherto, the export of the item on consignment basis will not be allowed.
