New Delhi, the 17th July, 1982

S.R.O. 16(E).—la exerciie of the powers conferred by the sub-section 1 of section 65 of the Coast Guard Act, 1978 (30 of 1978), the Central Govern- ment hereby declares the post of Lieutenant in the Indian Navy, the post of Captain in the Indian Army and the post of Flight Lieutenant in the Indian Air Force to be the equivalent posts to the post of Assistant Commandant in the Coast Guard.
