G2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] (2) In Part B, for S. No. 16 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :—• in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S,O. 621(E). dated the 14th August, 1980, namely :—In the said notification, in the Schedule,—
(1) In Part A, for S. No. 14 and the entries relating there-
to, the following shall be substituted, namely :—
"14. Drugs and Phamaceuticals produced by the indust- rial undertakings which fall within the purview of Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1973 (46 of 1973) :
(a) Drug intermediates from the basic stages for pro-
duction of high technology bulk drugs ; and
(b) high technology bulk drugs from the basic stage and formulations based thereon with an overall ratio of bulk drug consumption (from own-manu- facture) to formulations from all sources of 3:5." ;
"16. Drugs and Pharmacquticals produced by the Indian companies including the industrial undertakings which fall within the purview of the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969 (54 of 1969) :
All bulk drugs and formulations with an overall ratio of 1:10 between the value of production of bulk
drugs and formulations.".
