SltQL).—In exercise of the povveis conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (,52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 44 of the l'inancc Act, ]982 (14 of 1982), the Central Government, being satisfied thai it is necessaiy in the public interest io to do, hereby makes the following amendments in ihe notification of the Government of Tndii, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 144-Customs, dated the 11th May, 1982, namely :—
In the Table annexed to the said notification,—
(i) SI, No. 3 and the entries Ielating thcielo shall be omilted; and (ii) agjinsi SI. No. 4 in column (2), fot the existing entry, the following
shall bo "-ubstituted, namely :—
"Cold rolled elcctncal steel sheets, grain-oriented oi not, falling under sub-heading No. (1) ol Heading No, 73,15.".
